Bridge School Malvern has two sites, the secondary school is based in a rural setting in Hanley Swan near the beautiful Malvern Hills. The sixth form, named Bridge Business Centre, is based in the town of Malvern, in Barnards Green. Students can attend the sixth form up to the age of 24 years.

Open Day for September 2025 Intake at Bridge School Malvern, Hanley
Parents of Year 6, 7 and 8 pupils with an EHCP, who are looking for a small SEN provision for their child in September 2025, are invited to come to look around the school on the 19th of September 2024 at 2:15pm to 3:30pm.
Bridge School Malvern provides a small nurturing environment for pupils wishing to follow vocational routes to FE or employment. We do not offer GCSEs. Pupils will gain a suite of City and Guilds qualifications and will specialise in years 10 and 11 in two vocational areas: Construction, Catering, Animal Care, Horticulture or Art.
Parents are welcome to come and meet staff, see the school and our four acre land based site.

Functional Skills English and Maths Teacher (SEN) at Bridge School Hanley
Teacher (Functional Skills) Responsible to: Functional Skills Manager
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 3.30pm, 9.00 to 4.45pm Wednesdays, term time
Location: Hanley Workshops, Hanley Swan WR8 ODX
Main purpose of job: To deliver, in small groups or 1:1, as part of the wider team and under the direction of the Headteacher, functional skills teaching and support the welfare and care of young people.

Teacher - SEN
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 3.30pm, 9.00 to 4.45pm Wednesday, term time
Location: Hanley Workshops, Hanley Swan WR8 ODX
Main purpose of role: To provide strong personal development support for children with special educational needs and social and emotional difficulties. These are difficulties which may be linked to personal trauma, high anxiety and a mix of complex learning needs, including children on the autistic spectrum. You will apply good listening and a range of therapeutic approaches to support children’s engagement in learning, encourage personal awareness and build self esteem. Your role will include helping to empower children to take ownership of their opportunities through education, training and future employment.

The Bridge will pay half the cost of your first two hoodies and your first two T-Shirts making them an absolute bargain - See the order link for greater detail.

There is no school uniform at the Bridge, although there is a dress code which is made available when children come on roll. Bridge hoodies and T-shirts are available for pupils on roll at the Bridge. The school subsidises the cost and so they make practical and cost effective school wear.
​
Please note that wearing hoods up is still not allowed on site even if it's a Bridge Hoodie!
