We have a team of seven people currently on our Board of Trustees/Governors. The full Board of Governors meet half- termly to discuss progress, make strategic decisions, oversee safeguarding and to hold the management team to account. The Headteacher and Chief Executive Officer attend full board meetings. The Governors are also responsible each year for auditing the salaries of senior staff. this includes the Headteacher and Chief Executive Officer. Various sub-committee meetings meet throughout the year to undertake reviews for the area for which they are responsible.

Helen Attree – Chairperson 

Helen has retaken on the role of Chair in 2021, she has previously been Chairperson 2007 -2018. Helen is also the lead Governor for Safeguarding and Looked After Children , she leds the Safeguarding Sub-committee and the Education Sub-committees. Helen also helps with fundraising for the Bridge and has a stall at the Hanley Swan Market once a month.

Barry Austin 

Barry has been a Trustee since 2010, he has been the Chair of Governors 2018-2021.  Barry is led governor for the Financial and Legal Sub-committee and is on the the Health and Safety Sub-committee.

Debbie Austin

Debbie has been on the Board of Governors since 2010. She is on the Education Sub-Committee. Debbie is available for staff pastoral support if needed.

Julia Wolff

Julia joined the Board of Governors in 2015. Julia is on the Health and Safety Sub-committee and the Finance and Legal Sub-committee.
